2008-2010 SPIL Amendment Submitted for Approval

Following the January 29, 2010 Public Hearing on the State Plan for Independent Living (SPIL) amendment, the SPIL was submitted to the Rehabilitation Services Administration for approval. Changes made prior to submission include:

• Updated financial tables to reflect known American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) funds
• Requirement removed to have $100,000 minimum funding available before a grant would be awarded to CILs funded with Title VII, Part B and/or State General funds. The intent of removing this requirement is to allow time, during development of the 2011-2013 SPIL, for further evaluation of the impact of this requirement.
