OVRS needs assessments

 

The Office of Vocational Rehabilitation Services (OVRS) has completed its 2010 Comprehensive Needs Assessment. Download the Comprehensive Needs Assessment Report (PDF)

 

OVRS assesses the vocational rehabilitation needs of Oregonians with disabilities every three years, as required by the Rehabilitation Act of 1974 (amended). OVRS uses the results to develop and update its state plan for vocational rehabilitation services, and to help determine objectives and priorities. The 2010 assessment was conducted by The Interwork Institute at San Diego State University., under contract with OVRS. Four hundred and eight survey responses were received from individuals with disabilities, 46 partner surveys were completed, 101 OVRS staff surveys were completed, and 129 business surveys were completed. A total of 98 persons participated in 12 focus group conducted in Ontario, Bend, Medford, and Salem, while 18 individuals participated in the key informant interviews. OVRS is grateful for their participation and input.
