are minimum averages measured at 76 cm (30 in.) above the floor in a horizontal
plane. Task light levels are absolute minimums taken on the visual task.
For make-up/shaving, the measurement is to be taken on the face in a vertical
position.Note: It should be understood
that the values listed are minimums. The optimum solution for task lighting
is to give users control over the intensity and positioning of the light
source to meet their individual needs.
