Brine Recalls VIP Lacrosse Gloves Due to Violation of Lead Paint Standard
Sold at: Sporting goods stores nationwide between July 2009 and June 2010 for about $50.
Hazard: Screen printing ink used on the silver triad logo on the back of the glove contains excessive levels of lead, violating the federal lead paint standard.
Description: This recall involves black and white Brine VIP lacrosse gloves sold in three sizes: 10, 12 and 13 inches. The name "Brine" is printed in white and a silver triad symbol is printed on the back of the glove on the wrist cuff. The following lacrosse gloves are involved in this recall:

Daiso Recalls Children's Coin Purses and Jewelry Due to Risk of Lead Exposure
Sold at: Daiso stores in California and Washington from May 2009 through December 2009 for about $1.50.
Hazard: The surface paint on the zippers of the coin purses and the clasps on the jewelry contain high levels of lead. Lead is toxic if ingested by young children and can cause adverse health effects.
Description: This recall involves children's coin purses with rainbow stripes and children's earrings and necklaces that have blue, pink, red, white and yellow colored droplets. 'The Coin Purse' and 'Mobile Case Coin Purse' are printed on the tag attached to the purse. 'Colorful Drop Accessory Bracelet' is printed on the front of the necklace packages and 'Colorful Drop Accessory Pierce' is printed on the front of the earring packages. The tag and packaging have 'Produced for Daiso Japan' on either the front or back.
Remedy: Consumers should immediately take the recalled products away from children and contact Daiso for a full refund.

Hazard: The tiara contains high levels of lead. Lead is toxic if ingested by young children and can cause adverse health effects.
Description: This recall involves the Wilton® Youth Tiara with a SKU number of 120-228. The SKU number is located on the back of the package in the lower right corner. The tiara is silver-colored with clear crystals.

Target Recalls Children's Belts Due to Violation of Lead Paint Standard
Sold exclusively at: Target stores and on Target.com nationwide from December 2008 through December 2009 for between $7 and $9
Hazard: The belt buckles contain excessive levels of lead, violating the federal lead paint standard.
Description: This recall involves two types of belts: The Cherokee boys' belts and Circo girls' belts. The Cherokee belts are black and brown reversible belts with heavy stitching in sizes M-XL. The belts came in a pack of two with the numbers 202/08/0018, 202/08/0019 or 202/08/0020 embossed on the belt. The girls' Circo belts are pink and white with heart buckles in sizes XS-L. They were sold in a 2-pack with the numbers 202/05/0071, 202/05/0072, 202/05/0073 or 202/05/0074 listed on the product label attached to the inside of the belt.

Cost Plus Inc. Recalls Tea Glasses Due to Risk of Lead Exposure
Sold at: Cost Plus/World Market stores nationwide from June 2009 through November 2009 for about $5 for the 7-ounce tea glass and about $6 for the 11.25-ounce tea glass.
Hazard: The Moroccan tea glasses contain excessive levels of lead in the exterior coloring. Lead is toxic if ingested by young children and can cause adverse health effects.
Description: The recalled Moroccan tea glasses were sold in 7-ounce and 11.25-ounce sizes. The glasses have an etched graphic design on the outside of the glass and were sold in assorted colors such as blue, green, and red.

Description: The vinyl chair is round in shape to resemble a basketball, orange/brown in color and measures about 20 inches in diameter. "All-Star" is printed on both sides in black. "Colleen Karis Designs" is printed on a tag on the bottom of the chair. The ottoman is orange/brown in color and has a black stripe.
Remedy: Consumers should immediately take the chair and ottoman away from children and return the chair and ottoman set to Colleen Karis Designs for a full refund.

Description: The recall involves the following SchoolSmart TechnoSkin Coated Foam Balls and TechStitched Soccer Balls. The TechnoSkin Foam Balls measure between 2 ' and 8 ' inches in diameter. The Sportime TechStitched Soccer Ball is a standard size soccer ball.

Hazard: The yellow lids in the kits contain excessive levels of lead. Lead is toxic if ingested by young children and can cause adverse health effects.

Description: This recall involves the Carolina Function Generator Kits that are mathematical function teaching aids. The kit consists of a yellow plastic lid, leg stands, base and whiteboard cards. The yellow lids have two slots labeled “IN’ and “OUT” and are embossed with the name “Carolina” and “Lid” in raised letters.

Hazard: The paint on the children's wooden beads contains excessive levels of lead, violating the federal lead paint standard.
Description: The children's painted wooden beads are in the shapes of insects and flowers. They were sold in assorted colors and designs and measure about one inch in size. They were sold in 1/2 lb. bags. Model number BE1190, "S&S Worldwide Inc" and "Made in China" is located on the bag of beads.

Description: This recall involves all sets of BigBox Hockey, each consisting of six boards, measuring 6’ long by 10” tall. The boards come in six colors: red, orange, yellow, green, blue and violet. The boards can be assembled together to create a contained playing area for children’s floor hockey.

Allreds Design Recalls Baby Bracelets and Pacifier Clips Due to Risk of Lead Exposure
Sold by: Resale stores and other consignment retailers nationwide from June 2008 through December 2008 for about $5.
Hazard: The recalled bracelets and pacifier clip clasps contain high levels of lead. Lead is toxic if ingested by young children and can cause adverse health effects. Allreds Design received one report of a 10-month-old child who was treated by a physician for elevated lead levels.
Description: This recall includes Allreds Design brand baby bracelets and pacifier clips. The bracelets are sold in sizes 0-6 months, 1-4 years, and 4-8 years of age. The baby bracelets and pacifier clips have crystal and plastic beads in various colors with a metal clasp.
Remedy: Consumers should immediately take these recalled bracelets and pacifier clips away from children and contact Allreds Design for instructions on how to receive a replacement bracelet or pacifier clip.

Hazard: A cylindrical metal connector on a charm can contain levels of total lead in excess of 300 ppm, which is prohibited under federal law.
Description: This recall involves charms sold with the Tiny Tink and Friends toy jewelry sets. The charm is attached to a cord using a metal ring and cylinder and included with the sets as a separate accessory that children can attach to the toy necklace, bracelet or key chain. The toy jewelry sets containing the charm accessory were sold in a variety of styles:

Description: This recall involves Papyrus brand children's greeting cards sold with an attached wooden bead bracelet. The front of the card says 'Happy Birthday To You' and includes an attached bead in the shape of a heart with the word 'smile' printed on it. The colorful bracelet includes wooden beads with one in the shape of a butterfly. The back of the greeting card reads, 'BD 63401 | © Jean Card & Gift Company' and the card insert reads, 'USA $6.95 | CAN $10.50 | Made in China | © Jean Card & Gift Company' and includes UPC number 734524634013 in the lower right hand corner.

Description: This recall involves 'Big Rex and Friends' cloth books. The book has a black and white striped border with a red dinosaur on the cover. The words 'Big Rex and Friends' are printed on the cover. ISBN 031249260X or 9780312492601 is printed on the back of the book.
